Crazy speed is fine in Bloodborne, because while everything is fast and aggresive, so are you, and it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast. Enemies no longer follow the same or similar rules as you, with DS1 poise and endless stamina and randomly breaking out of combos whenever they want.Īnd to top it all off and worst of all, the game itself doesn't seem to realize the kind of game it is when it comes to your character. A slow or even medium speed weapon is a liablity. Magic is weak and to clunky against the speedy hordes. The stability and damage reduction that was missing from a lot of DS2 is back, but is no longer enough to counteract the enemies it's up against. This is more a product of the fast enemies, but they really chew through your guard quickly, and almost every tough enemy has some grab or quick guard-breaking attack. While you, your weapon, and your enemies get stronger, your armor stays the same and gets increasingly pointless. Dark souls 3 enemies upgrade#Poise does jack, and defense is barely better, and you can't even upgrade armor. The slower, methodical, strategic combat of DS1, DS2, and even Demon's is completly gone.Īrmor is worthless. Compare a Darkwraith in this game to their earlier selves it's not even close. Enemies are incredibly, ridiculously fast and aggressive. ![]()
